Thousands of people are constantly moving to NYC all of the time! The city can be a pretty difficult place to meet people and I am always getting asked about how to meet new people. Well, this is your lucky day!
I always tell people that going to networking events is the perfect way! The people who go to networking (or as I like to call it, neTwerking) events are all there to meet people who are interested in similar things that they are interested in.
OJ&B was recently asked to co-host the second Conspire to Inspire networking event on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM at the White Rabbit. I was honored and of course I said yes!
Conspire To Inspire is a monthly networking event and umbrella organization, bringing together the best of the entertainment, music, fashion, art, technology and non-profit sectors. Not only will you be able to meet awesome people who are interested in entertainment, music, fashion and more, but you will also have the opportunity to give back!
Conspire to Inspire is going to be raffling away awesome jewelry from Perl Naidoo as well as artwork from their artist of the month, Andres Rivera. All proceeds from this raffle will go towards benefiting the Red Cross' efforts in aiding Japan.
I am really excited to be co-hosting an event where people can network, make new friends and have the opportunity to give back. It has taken me a lot of netwerking to meet amazing people in this city and it is always worth the effort! I can't wait to see you there!
