Internationally acclaimed fashion designer Vivienne Tam is ditching the traditional fashion show runway for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 and replacing it with a living, breathing sculpture garden in the middle of Lincoln Center.
To present Tam’s collection entitled “The Modern Woman’s Dream Yoga Collection,” 20 female yogis will model the designs by performing choreographed yoga led by International Yoga Experts, Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee. The collection was created to create lifestyle fashion that takes women from Yoga to their everyday life.
“The Modern Woman’s Dream Yoga Collection” is Tam’s first yoga collection, in collaboration with Li Ning, of Leading Sports Company. This show will be held on Tuesday, September 13th from 10:30am to 1:00pm in The Barclay’s Capital Grove in Lincoln Center located at Broadway and 65th Street, New York, NY.
