Happy Easter: An Ode To Hats!

Easter happens to be the perfect holiday for a hat obsessed person like myself.  Everyone who knows me well knows that I am OBSESSED with hats!  Not just any old hat will do... It has to be fierce, fab, outrageous and probably worn to a church.  I am not sure were my obsession with amazing hats comes from but with things like the royal wedding, Easter and old school church going women keeping them alive, I am hoping for a hat come back. 

Back in the day, men and women wouldn't dare go outside with out an amazing hat and if you read OJ&B then you know I feel the same way.  To honor Easter and hats I have pulled together some of OJ&B's greatest hat hits.  Think of it as a silly style blogger type post except I am totally not taking myself seriously.  Hope you enjoy!

Hats have been a big part of my life the past few years.  It is crazy how a lot of people ask me where my hat is if I happen to not wear one to an event.  This shot by photographer Jeffrey Clark Grossman is one of my fave hat shots! 

I wore this hat so much when I first moved to NYC that I even shut it down with Rachel Zoe in this hat.

While out and about one night in NYC I spotted someone with this crazy looking Pimp hat.  I had to have a moment with it.

I was obsessed with top hats for awhile back in Texas.  I was so excited when my BFF Kristen invited me to a themed party where we could be all Britney circa Circus. 

I had to chance to interview friend of OJ&B Sonja Morgan at her house last year so of course we had to play dress up with one of her infamous hats from the Real Housewives of New York season 4.

This is one of my favorite hats from the Village Scandal in NYC.  This was taken before I took my friend Amber to a Kentucky Derby Party last year. 

What would Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week be without hats and celebs?  Hey Guiliana Rancic.

I literally wore this hat until it fell apart.  It was a fab choice to wear for the regatta with Custo Barcelona, Estrella Damm Beer and W Hotels!

My friend Kristen (same one from the top hat photo) is working on this awesome painting of me that I was surprised with during a Christmas Visit home.  Love that she included a hat!

When I got this hat in a gift bag from the Accessories Council I had to try it on for the Royal Wedding... I mean I HAD TO Ha Ha!

My most recent hat is this fly summer fedora that I got from the Stetson Spring 2012 hat preview. I cannot wait to rock it in the city!

I could not end an ode to hats without showing a picture of my modern day hat hero Kate Middleton.  Remember when she shut down this past Christmas?  I was so sad she didn't shut down this Easter.  You better work next year Kate!
