Back In The Day Song Of the Day: S Club 7 'S Club Party'

This week's Back In The Day Song Of The Day is S Club 7's 'S Club Party.'  The song was made for S Club 7's debut album, "S Club" and was released on September 20, 1999.  I figured that this party song was the perfect throwback to celebrate the end of Summer 2013!

I LOVED S club 7 back in the day!  Remember this video? They went back in time to 1950 and did a car race that was kind of like the famous one in the movie "Grease" (but super horrible costumes).  I don't know what it was about the 90's.  It was like it was not cool to do period costumes in movies or videos exactly how they were.  There was always something off and kinda lazy about them. Then there was S Club 7's outfits, YIKES!  Again, in '99 and the 2000's it was all about looking like you were not trying too hard to look hip or fashionable wich resulted in BORING!  A belly shirt with capris was something that I guess seemed fashion forward at the time (que Miley y'all). I knew the entire dance to this video and I loved when each member of S Club got to jump up and to there "S" formation in the sky.

I guess there is nothing left to say but, "Tina's doing her dance, Jon looking for romance, Paul's getting down on the floor, while Hannah's screaming out for more. Wanna see Bradley swing, wanna see Rachel do her thing, then you got Jo shes got the flow. Get ready everybody cause HERE WE GO"!
