After having been exposed to jewelry since childhood, founder and designer of Khai Khai Jewelry, Haim Medine, decided to join the family business in 2006. He spent three years working in design & production and slowly began compiling a scrapbook filled with his own unique designs and concepts stretching beyond what is considered the norm in conventional fine jewelry. It is so refreshing to see a designer making fun jewelry that also has value and can last forever.  So many younger consumers are going to department stores and buying expensive costume pieces that eventually fall apart and do not last.  They do not realize that there are jewelers making gold pieces and selling them for the same price that will last and have value for a lifetime.  Many younger consumers also might think that gold is for an older crowd, but with the 90's fashion comeback I am seeing a ton of gold on the streets of NYC, at fashion events and on the runways.  I have also been raving about gold all year so you know it has to be hot.

I love that Khai Khai is bringing gold to a new generation with fun designs and creative pieces.  It is good to know that you can buy something that has value while showing off your personality at the same time.
