Super Mario-fied NYC Subway Map
Chicago actor and comedian, Robert Bacon, made pixel art of the NYC Subway map that looks like it came directly from the popular 90's video game, Super Mario World.
"The New York City Subway system has over 840 miles of track and over 450 stations. Making a 16-bit pixel recreation was easily my biggest challenge yet," says Bacon. The project took Bacon about two months to finish. Check out the video about the project below!
Hearing the Super Mario World music instantly takes me back to the 1991. I spent so many hours playing this game and this map makes me want to bust out a Super Nintendo and start playing it again (Where is my Yoshi?)
