The Blonds had quite the New York Fashion Week this September starting with Rootstein Launching the Phillip Blond Mannequin and ending with their Spring/Summer 2016 show.

Rootstein, the iconic mannequin company who has been the leader in groundbreaking mannequin manufacturing proudly announced the release of a visionary new collection of male and female mannequins based on the visage of internationally famous fashion designer Phillipe Blond with a fabulous launch event on September 9, 2014. The announcement marked the first time both gender mannequins have been sculpted from a single individual.

Phillipe joins a roster of unforgettable muses who have been immortalized by Rootstein including Twiggy, Agyness Deyn, Pat Cleveland, Marie Helvin, Sayoko, Dianne Brill, Yasmin LeBon, Karen Mulder, Jodie Kidd, Joan Collins, Susanne Barstch, Erin O'Connor and Jade Parfit to name a few.

The event featured an exhibition of the mannequins wearing an archive of The Blonds most memorable runway pieces. “The whole process is surreal and magical, like a dream. It is such an honor to join the ranks of so many inspiring icons that have been sculpted for mannequins by Rootstein," states Phillipe Blond. "Their heritage is groundbreaking and their craftsmanship is incomparable and I can’t wait to see what window dressers around the world will dress my mannequin in!"

Every single mannequin had a look that was beyond on fleek and the hair was laid for days!

As if having an amazing party to celebrate your very own mannequin was not enough, the Blonds also had a sickening fashion show debuting their Spring/Summer 2016 clothing line.

SO MAJOR!

The Blonds have been kicking ass and taking names in the fashion world since 2008 and have developed a dedicated celebrity following which includes some of today’s top performers such as Katy Perry, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears. With amazing creations like the ones in their SS16 collection, it is not hard to see why!

Can't you see your favorite pop star in this for a performance, a red carpet appearance or on the cover of a magazine?

The Blonds are so major that they even had the Divine Miss M., Bette Midler, in their front row for the show (she also wore their creations for her "Divine Intervention tour this year)! "It's all very Girly. They're not practical; they're just great fun," Bette told the New York Times.  "It's like old-school New York. It's great to see it again.

Everything in this photo is what I love about the Blonds, New York and NYFW

Besides being a go to designer for celebs, the Blonds are also Former Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation grant winners and have collaborated with worldwide brands such as Barbie, Warner Brothers and Playboy.

Congrats to the Blonds on another successful NYFW!  I had a fabulous time at the Rootstein event celebrating Phillip's mannequin and I loves seeing all the photos from the SS16 show!
