Actress Extraordinaire Emma Stone graces the cover of Elle Magazine's September 2018 Cover
I was so excited to get the news that Emma Stone is on the cover of Elle Magazine's September 2018 cover! Emma is one of my favorite actresses (ran to see her in Cabaret on Broadway) and style stars and I could not wait to read the interview.
In the September Elle Magazine, on newsstands August 28th, Emma is interviewed by one of her dearest friends, Jennifer Lawrence and the interview could not be more funny, adorable and real! I am 100% here for these outlets that have been getting celeb friends and colleagues interview each other because you get a more realistic and closer glimpse into who they really are.
During the interview Emma opens up to Jennifer Lawrence (Jennifer calls Emma by her real name, Emily) about living in the public eye, her new project, the importance of friendship, turning 30 and Jurassic Park (I seriously LOLED)!
Check out highlights from the interview below along with the gorgeous photos that accompany the interview.

On learning lessons publicly:
"It feels like a lot of people have to learn lessons publicly now because of the way the world is wired."
On her new project Maniac:
"The thing I liked about Maniac was that it’s about people who have their own internal struggles and are trying to fix them with a pill. But you see over the course of the show that human connection and love is really the only thing that gets us through life. I liked that idea, and I love Jonah [Hill]. I had worked with him on the first movie I ever did [Superbad], so it was, like, 11 years later."

On the importance of friendships:
“I think friendship is pretty much everything. Here’s another turning-30 thing I’ve realized: You pick your family. You realize that your friendships, the people who go with you into these next phases of your life- you’re choosing your family.”
On turning 30:
“My twenties were a really interesting time, and there’s been a lot that has happened in these past 10 years, both positive and not as positive. It’s weird how much turning 30 crystallizes your life. Instead of just living the dreams that I had in my youth and getting to do the job that I love to do and making friends and going through all of that, it’s like, Now what do I actively want as an adult?”

On why she doesn’t have social media:
“I think it wouldn’t be a positive thing for me. If people can handle that sort of output and input in the social media sphere, power to them.”
On Jurassic Park when Jennifer Lawrence jokingly says it was one of her best movies:
"But I wasn’t in that, Jen. I’m not Laura Dern, as much as I want to be."
